Standard del Gatto Balinese Standard of the Balinese cat
***** The appearance of the Balinese is morphologically identical to that of the Siamese but differ in the mantle that is precisely semi-long, silky, and requires a toelettaura challenging. The coat is longer on the neck, shoulders and tail ending in a plume. They have the same color coat (Coulorpoint) with the exception of foreign white, and must be strictly almond eyes deep blue. The Fife standard is different from that WCF or Tica, and differs mainly for the shape of the head which is to be triangular but requires large ears to the base but to the tip and positioned at the bottom. Of course this extreme version is easier to find in a Siamese or an Oriental, unfortunately the Balinese is a newer breed and then is further back in the selection. This is the main reason for which they were included the Siamese and Oriental extremes in the selection of Balinese, so you get more Balinese "typed". ***** |
